Red Thai Curry Paste

Thai curry is a popular Thai dish consisting of curry paste cooked in coconut milk with meat or veggies added in it. Its' main ingredient is curry paste as it has blend of spices. Depending on the type of Thai curry the paste will be different. i.e For Green curry is made with green ingredients like green chillies,cilantro etc. And Red curry consists of Red ingredients like Red Chillies which will give it its red colour. The main ingredient of any thai curry is the Lemon Grass without which it will not get its authentic flavor and Taste.

Ingredients
  • 6-7 stick Dried Red Chillies
  • 4-5 stick Ginger (Peeled and Cut)
  • 6-7 Garlic
  • 1/2 cup Lemon Grass (Dried (Optional))
  • 2-3 Stalk of Lemon Grass
  • 1/4 cup Coriander Seeds
  • 1/4 cup Cumin Seeds
  • 5-6 PepperCorns
  • 1 Spring Onion Bulb
  • 1 Spring Onion Stem
  • 1 tsp Lemon Zest
  • Salt (To Taste)
Instructions
  1. In A Grinder, take 6-7 dry Red Chillies
  2. Add 4-5 Cut Peeled Ginger
  3. Add 6-7 Cloves of Garlic
  4. Add 1/2 cup Dried lemon Grass leaves
  5. Add Stems of Lemon Grass
  6. Add Coriander Seeds
  7. Add Cumin Seeds
  8. Add Peppercorns
  9. Add Bulbs of Spring Onions
  10. Add Spring Onion Stems
  11. Add 1 tsp of Lemon Zest
  12. Add 1/4 Cup lemon Juice
  13. Grind it to a Fine Paste
