Dry Manchurian balls-A Crispy Indo-Chinese Delight! 🍜🥢

Dry Manchurian is a crispy starter snack of fried veg balls tossed in the spicy, sweet, tangy sauce. It is a well deserved popular starter which make your mouth water and makes you fall in love with it at first sight. Veggie Balls are made with very basic ingredients like cabbage being the main ingredient and can be combined with carrots, beans(optional) tossed with salt and pepper and some ginger garlic paste. Sauce adds flavor to it. Also Chings Manchurian Masala adds extra flavor to it buts its optional. This was my all time favorite dish in Chinese cuisine so I always kept trying this till I got perfection, and this is it! Try this recipe it tastes heavenly. Ingredients
    For Manchurian Balls
  • 2 cup Cabbage (Grated)
  • 2 Carrots (Grated)
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic (Paste)
  • 1 tsp Pepper Powder
  • Salt (To taste)
  • 1/2 Corn flour
  • 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
  • For Manchurian Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Garlic (minced)
  • 1 Spring Onion Stick
  • 1 Onion (cut in cubes)
  • 1 cup Mixed Bell Peppers (cut in cubes)
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Sauce or Red Chilly Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sugar (Optional)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp Corn Flour
Instructions
    For Manchurian Balls
  1. Grate 2 cups cabbage in a mixing Bowl
  2. 2 carrots grated
  3. 1 TBSP Ginger Garlic paste with green chilies.
  4. 1 TBSP Black Pepper Powder
  5. Salt to Taste
  6. 1/2 cup Corn Flour
  7. 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
  8. Mix all Together
  9. Make Balls with your Palm
  10. Fry them or Stir fry them
  11. Making the Sauce
  12. Add 1/4 cup minced garlic
  13. Add 1 Spring Onion Bulb
  14. 1 Onion cut in cubes
  15. Add 1 cup mixed bell pepper
  16. 1 TBSP Red Chilli Sauce
  17. 1 TBSP Soy Sauce
  18. 1 TSP Sugar (Optional)
  19. Add 1 Tbsp Corn flour slurry , Let it cook for few mins
  20. Add Manchurian balls , mix well and garnish them with spring onions
Recipe Notes

Tips: 1)Along with Cabbage and carrots, you can also add finely chopped french beans and Capsicum 2)If you don't want to deep fry it You can air fry or stir fry the veg balls 3)For the Sauce you can whichever red sauce you want, Tomato ketchup, Red chilly 4)Instead of sugar you can add Honey 5)Instead of manchurian masala you make add 1 tbsp corn flour with 1 cup water
